couple of years ago when i became a mod of this place i had an approval rating above 80%. right now i feel like Bush, something isn't right. i am not used to having this much negativity in the forum. i can't even post a simple topic without someone yelling their screw The-Screw rants. so here's the deal, i need to hire a Political Advisor. someone well known and clever. i want to make some changes around here and maybe appoint 5 new mods to balance the power. people need to be reminded why i was selected as mod in the first place. i'm also cutting ties with Beesha Sade.

Sounds like a good start. Fire all the mods and hire new ones, political advisor would be good too, and should serve as spokesperson. Let them take the heat a little more.

Somaliweyn, i would appoint only those that receive the most votes but how do you stop the multinickers from voting for themselves over and over again? someone has to have a little common sense!

So, as I said: it depends on the one that counts the votes. Because who decides what nicknames are original/valid and which are multiple?

I would advice you to elect around 10 well-known Forumners and let those 10 elect a person. These 10 must ofcourse meet the requirements which you or others design.
