I will lose all hope of Somali unity.

I will become an Advocate for Somaliland Independence and we Puntlanders will call for Puntland to declare Independence from the Somali Public.

South Somalia is Holding It self iyo Somalia back. The North iyo Northeast have the Foundations of dawlad in place.

Wallahi it's not qabil and never really has been qabil the masses in the South really don't want a Government. What happen to the 14 government that were led by Hawiye men? The TFG is in way better position then those 14 other Governments but if it does fail. Nomore time will be wasted on South Somali Politics.

That is my personally opinion. What is yours?

Somaliland is already independent country. the americans are not recognizing the independence only because they don't want to make abdullahi yusuf's TFG mad.

if TFG fails, Somaliland will get quick recognition. at that point, i will probably support Puntland independence too because there is no more point in fantasizing about Greater Somalia since we will be divided into 4 places by then (ogaden/Ethiopia, NFD/kenya, djibouti and somaliland).

but lets say you are the US government, and you know that AY is against somaliland independence and you know TFG will lose more support if somaliland gets recognized under TFG's watch, so will you be dumb enough to support somaliland independence at this time?????
