All the big Bakhaaro in Bosaso seemed to be owned by them and two biggest hotels Five star and International village hotel is owned by them. Most markabs with goods belonged to Wabeneye businessmen.

My family is in this business too and they said they were their biggest competitors.

Cumar Maxamuud might have a few big boys (shareholders of Amal etc) but they are overall not very entrepreneurial as the Wabeneyes.

Second is Cali Saleebaan, very business savy clan. Generally mostly reer Bari folks besides Cusman Maxamuud..

Cisman Max'd are not poor as in like the Ethiopians and Hawiyes in Bosaso but they don't enjoy high living standards, that is all I am saying.

I have seen a warehouse close to the port with piles of rice bags each worth at least 50$ and there were thousands there, the guy who owned the place was a Wabeneye and I expected some foreigner/UN shit to own it.

1 in 2 products in Puntland is imported by a Wabeneye that is how high, they are the Indhadeero's of Puntland.
