Like MM said it has nothing to do with lil wayne and them other people's, its about the INDIVIDUAL...its not like the country that they are living in is holding them/us back, its coz we CHOOSE NOT TO DO ANYTHING...

typial Somali trait (blame others never ourselves) .... .. if anything our adopted countries give us a head start in life all the resources that we need and could use to go back home and make it a better place we decide either NOT to USE or when we have USED it we stay here and set up camp....

Really though, i don't think that this artical has much point or argument, cuz think about it what difference is there between the person that wears a jeans and the one that wears a macaws(however u spell it) just as long as your on point with your religeon and you know where your going in life. Me myself i do send money but i've been doing that ever since i was able to own a minimum wage as my parents programmed me to doing it. I don't wake up in the morning and think how can i help somalia instead i think how much will the morgage rates be when i take out one. I am more worried about the credit crunch and recession then i am about the conflicts in the "motherland". I have been back there and loved it but as far as am concerned it was a holiday and its not a place i would live. SOMALIA HASN'T RAISED ME MY PARENTS DID, INFACT SOMALIA THREW ME OUT.

Somalis are sooooo hyprocit especially the ones in here..One min they're dissin each other for their tribe or place they're from and the other sec they are all acting like want to help Somalia!!?

The least thing you could do is treat you're fellow somali with love and respect ..if they only had that in our country we wouldn't be here
