The Islamic Courts were formed to settle minor disputes between Somalis in a agreed upon fashion when there was no law other than the rule of the Warlords. How one can call such a thing a Islamic Sharia I don't know, theirs was not Islam, it is Aways and Indha-Adde view of Islam.

Islam teaches that every Muslim stands before God and is responsible for making his own moral choices in observing sharia. The Koran does not prescribe a form of government, but speaks only of the community of Muslims.

But hey, if you bunch feel like following the Col. turned Sheikh Aways in his struggle against President Yusuf just because he so happen to put on a fake "cimaamad" then by all means go ahead. You bunch may not have the confidence to say to fake Islamists like Aways and Co. this is not Islam when they say "theirs is the will of God," but million of others like myself do who don't share their view of Islam. Islam is more then a tool you can throw at your opponents when you feel like it and I pray Aways and Co. get that.

Dont get wrong big man.If it came to a choice between TFG and UIC, I would choose the UIC everytime.And this is the answer to my question.
Its not the Islamist are offering something positive its that the alternative is worst.Its like being offered mild hell or very very bad hell.It doesnt take rocket science to work out which you would prefer.

With the traitors and occupation, somalia would be approaching peace.

What has the TFG done wrong other then seeking Ethiopia's help when Indha-Adde delcared "jihad" on it?

Believe it or not but the ones that seem to have put on the fake cimaamad are as much to blame and that sxb is a fact. The TFG is not perfect but there is a system in place that will benefit Somalia in the long run, what has Al-shabaab got for me other then forcing a sword downs my throat when Ethiopia leaves? Nothing!

Can we agree on something, lets say the greatest somali of all time..Ahmed Gurey, or Siyad hassan aka the mad mullah god rest both their souls.
If we use that above formula, the Abdillah Yusuf must be the worst somali in history.Because he did the opposite of what they did they fought against foreign occupation, whilst he allowed them and even gave them permission.History has many cowards Abdillahi Yusuf will seat along side Igal Shiidaad and all the other disgraceful cowards.

You and I don't see things the same way, so like you said debating each other is pointless, I don't want a divided country you do, I don't see Ethiopia our worst enemy today you do, I don't see Aways and Co. form of Sharia Law as the true Sharia Law you do, etc.

My stand is this: Somalis are their worst enemy today and the sooner you realize this the better.

But here is what you're missing... there are no such people as Somalis anymore. If we took as an example just looking around this forum.. what do you see Shilling? Do you see a Somali? How many of us(I am not saying to count the number of people but the actual Somalis) are here?
