Somalia: Europe to Patrol Waters
Published: September 17, 2008
Spain will send a military aircraft to patrol the waters off the coast of Somalia to protect ships from pirates, the Defense Ministry said Wednesday. The aircraft will carry 90 Spanish soldiers and will operate from a base in Djibouti.
