Malawax:
1 cup flour
1 cup water
1 egg
1Tbs. sugar
salt to taste

1. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
2. Mix until it is smooth.
3. Lightly grease a pan.
4. Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the middle of the pan.
5. Spread with a ladle in a circular motion starting from the middle.
6. Cook until the underside is light gold.
7. Flip and cook for a minute or until brown spots form.
Laxoox:
2 cups or self raising flour
2 2/3 cups of warm water
1/2 tsp. salt

1. Mix all the ingredients with an electric mixer until there are no longer any lumps.
2. Let sit for 15 minutes.
3. Preheat a pan on high heat. (Pan should be really hot. I put it on 8 but yours might be
different.)
4. Lightly grease the pan to prevent the anjera from sticking.
5. Using a ladle, scoop 1/4 cup of batter into the center of the pan.
6. Spread the batter by using a circular motion.
7. The anjera is ready when the underside is lightly browned and the top is bubbly.
8. Remove the anjera with a spatula and place on a plate.
9. THe process is repeated until all the batter has been used.
All thanks to Tammy/Amina's blog.
