She kept going off-topic, she was more rhetorical than specific, she also was clamoring for more power for the VP smh

Biden won and Palin lost.

The press will tear Palin apart tomorrow, she was off-topic and it seemed more like Biden was debating and Palin was holding a speech before class.

Surprisingly, Biden avoided major gaffes, though he had many exaggerations. He looked tired and lacked passion. Initially, Palin was uneasy (she was shaking), but got comfortable and become more confident gradually. I wasn't comfortable with her tone (it looked robotic, rehearsed & folksy) in the early part of the debate, but she got better over the course of the debate. Both candidates scored well on different points. Biden failed to deliver the knockout punch that many were expecting him to deliver. Palin being the underdog and inexperienced, she delivered a better than expected performance. The moderator, Gwen, was biased towards Biden.

Verdict: Palin won by a few points.

Biden won because he stayed on point and answered all questions precisely. Palin lost because she is weak on fact and she couldn't stay on course

She was very robotic. She was following a script and had no humanistic appeal. I think her reliance on a prepared script was an insult to the viewers who were looking for real concrete answers. When asked about what project she will eliminate as a result of the dwindling national treasury, her answer was, " I don't know, I have been in this for only 5 weeks." WTF. Abu Shabab you must not pay a lot of attention to what you are talking about cuz no one was expecting Biden to give a "knockout" punch. In fact, everyone was telling Biden to NEVER go after her. That was the worst thing he could have looked like after this lady made a fool of herself all week was the long-time senator and "Eastern elite" Washington insider "bullying" her. Seriously though observe more rather than comment.


AS FOR THE DEBATE, the lady was personable, she was folksy, but completely out of her league. What is the point of a debate? To DEBATE! Biden would debate and she would look at her note cards and throw statistics around, she was absolutely out of her league and sometimes to get out of holes, she would throw statistics that were completely different than the question!

She basically did not debate, all she did was regurgitate a rehearsed note-card reading.

The lastest polls by the way say Biden won 53-34.

I agree dude. I like her, I really did but I think the debate went 91-9 Biden's way. She absolutely did NOT debate. All she did was read note-cards. Half of the time she threw around "Obama voted this way" which she KNEW was false and watched Biden answer them 2/3 of the time and the telling thing is she NEVER defended her information everytime Biden refuted them.

I just got done watching Fox news in which they said "oh yeah, those journalists and gotcha journalism were killing her and this showed how unfair they were" and I could not help saying "no they weren't!, would Palin have got away tonight in a journalistic interview in which her points would stand analzation".
