Health officials will say that every winter 5-20 percent of the population catches the flu, 200,000 people are hospitalized, and 36,000 people will die from it.

There are many, many different known strains of flu. Plus recent mutations.

I can't recall the exact year, but, say mid-1980's, as HIV transmission began to be understood, Dental regulatory and employee protection organizations began to mandate the dis-infection of dental impressions and work surfaces, etc. in dental laboratiories.

Prior to that time, it was just understood that techs were going to get colds in October, and these would persist until the end of May. It was something you expected and lived with.
After that, the flu, colds, etc. became much less common. I have not had a respiratory infection since adding the flu shots eight or nine years ago. (Knock on wood.)

Careful with the Vitamin D. An overdose is damaging to the liver and heart:
