bro we are not in the recession yet it is coming because of the bank collapse, etc but the banks collapsed because of the subprime mortgage lending in which they gave loans to people who could not pay it back...trust me my bank washington mutual was the biggest mortage lender in the country and it collapsed because of that and it is known. people could not pay them back so they borrowed more and it became systametic and until they had to collapse one day as soon as the housing market collapsed itself.

sxb, you will not get info from the mainstream media. They are the ones who were saying everything was fine after Bear Stearns collapsed. They only tell you after the last collapse that this was the last collapse.

Pay close attention to things in the near future. There was 1 military battalion sent back from Iraq to prepare for natural or 'man-made' disasters.

I think it is a reasonable possibility the military will be used to help enforce martial within the year.

WAtch for a Federal rate cut. There have been so many rate cuts that have failed to turn around the economy that this tool will no longer work since the rates are all ready too low.
