And on another note...why do only northerners own automobiles?

Whenever I see pictures of Southern Somalia, they're riding donkey carts or farm animals themselves. No site of automobiles. And nobody in the north rides donkeys and shit. Besides Xamar, the rest of the south is in the 4th world stage, like Darfur.

Note to Gurey:

Jatropha Cursus takes 600 mm to produce a crop. The plant is drought tolerant, but does not produce in dry years. It takes MORE than 600 mm to become established.

This is why I think marine algae are a beter source of biodiesel.

Grant

The wells are full for at least a few years, they can easily produce that there if they make use of aquifer wells irrigation.

Marine algae can not be produced in Garowe, because it is inland.

Plus who the fck needs biodiesel when these Puntlanders are sitting on trillions of petro.

Dawwa,

Grow the biodiesel with sea water at the coast, save the inland water for stock and food crops.

I seriously doubt the oil reserves in Somalia will meet even local needs. Any large deposits would have shown up in the studies that were done in the Sixties. Trillions? Unlikely. Furthermore, unlike petrol, biodiesel is inexhaustable.

What has that got to do with the topic?
