Shilling wrote:Turki and Co. have done a commendable job with the city ever since the they routed Hiiraale militia...So why is it that the daily assassinations Kismaayo was famous for in the past all the sudden rear its ugly head when there are talks of attack from Hiiraale and Co. side?

Self explanatory really, folks in Calanley which the executed man hails from are a major stakeholder in the city and right now they seem to be at peace with Kismaayo new leadership. So can Hiraale and Co. attack a united city by themselves? No, they only have one shot in taking over the city and that is if they get some sort of alliance, they couldn't do it in the past and they hell can't do it now so let's see if Hiiraale and Co. work (cowardly assassination) could spoil Kismaayo newly found peace.

Shirib,

My stand is this:

In Kismayo, an alliance of local clans fought for their God-given right to live free in the land of their fathers fathers. They bravely liberated Kismayo so their children can walk and play in peace, and their women's honor and dignity is respected. The TFG is too preoccupied by the insurgency and neglected Kismayo and allowed brutal militias to suppress the local population. So it's only fair that the oppressed clan's there sought the support of anyone willing to help. Thus, I support thier move and I'm not ashamed of it sxb.

Simply, what happened in Kismayo is a popular uprising, not against the UN-recognized TFG, but against illegal militias who arrogantly refused to recognize the very TFG the world has spent so much resources defending.

They kicked out Barre Hiiraale who was Mareehaan so he feels it is better for his clan Majeerteen and he supports them now.

Wallahi its hilarious, this is all a joke.

Shirib,

I sense you have your own agenda here so good luck...I stated the obvious but you only see things through clans lens. I support the TFG because it's trying restore Somalia's dignity back and fighting Indha-Cade and Co. at the same time. And likewise I support Kismaayo new leadership because the residents there are happy with it since the brutal militias that suppress not just one group but everyone there has been routed out.

Btw...Every warlord at onetime served as a minster of the TFG, the game has since been redrawn and one by one the warlords have been sacked, so like Mohamed Dheere, Hiraale is history. You know Hiraale arrogantly refused to recognize TFG so let's be clear about the past and present. From the TFG prospective Kismaayo was never under the TFG's leadership so who is in control makes no difference really...

Shirib,

This is called siyaasad..

Your enemy's enemy is your friend..it happens every where in the world..no big deal.

Besides, the for the TFG..is a good thing that most of the somali cities have some sort of law and order..
Its good for the image, no matter who controls that city..be them shabob or Hiirale and co.

A winner has to emerge from there...so that they can sit down with the TFG and talk about nation building and compromise.

PS. It sad that the innocent civilians are the ones who will end up paying the highest price..but lets face it..even the shabob are made of qabils.

I Understand the sensitivity and the emotional baggage involved with Kismayo and you guys.

I just am more consistent than my adversaries(POLITICALLY)..though I am still a human.

Padishah, Starscream, several friends and the ones that I am related to all have a principle stance on whats going down in somalia, lakinse inta kale "Waa Umad Iska Nool".

Cawar, I dont think u have ever seen me talk about kismaayo besides few lines here and there, its insignificant to me and I really dont care for it, my heart is in developing other areas.
