Ok i woke this morning with a lazy disposition. I wanted to do all my laundry, but i didn't feel like it. Instead, i thought i should do something different. So i watched political news, especially-- George Stephanapolis, This week political show. New Gingridge was included in the highly liberal panel, so i thought, hhhmm interesting to watch. Gingridge is a mega republican and i like him for some many reasons. Anyway, at the end of the long political dull blab, they announced the names of the dead american soldiers in iraq this week. (I couldn't help observing the abc network,which airs this week George show, match the name of the iraq casualties by stating-dead this week, to match the shos name 'this week' with George S.. Its a bit shabby, dont u think?)

Anwway, as i was musing with a slice of huge CAKE-- strawberry cake-- yes yummy---i read this poor dead soldiers annouced at the end of the show. Names and ages. As young as 18-- and at least 10 of them this past week. My eyes & thoughts was stuck on this only 18 year old on the list of dead soldiers this week.Cory J Bertrand, Us Army, Center, Tx. The rest were at the age between 24 - 39. And I sat there, suddenly, so sympathetic and kinda wonder what is the life of a soldier worth, as a humanbeing? This Cory,for example, he was raised bya loving family, a loving family spent hours of baby sitting him, educating him, watching over him, worrying over him, and he reaches the age of almost adulthood where it was esentially his time to go out there and reward his parents, he joins the army and gets killed.He is dead. As if he never existed. He never got a chance to do something worth a humanbeing. A life wasted in the bush' of empty forest.



Is the worth of a soldier's life, NOTHING??? I mean, strictly as a humanbeing. speaking. It made me think of all soldiers who have died in History- gazillions of them, the soldiers of somalia who died during the historical war of Eithiopia, Napolean had nearly 1 million dead soldiers, i mean --the number of soldiers dead in the history of mankind can go as far as 100 trillion. Now, what was the point of their life? I am not sure none of them, took even a breath to thank Allaah for creating them. None of them took the time to discover why they are here on earth? They were born, they were dead. Period. Isn't the life of a soldier, humanly degrading and utterly sad? To lack a mind of your own, to make choices of someone else, is truly sad. They are basically legitimate suicidors. At least the islamic radicals who kill themselves, they prep themselves into death psychic mode. They possibly make last salat, and read dua, and make sure their family are taken care of financialy -courtesy of al qaida network funding reward, but these fcuking useless soldiers, how can they waste their life like that? Forget about casualties of civilians. Any civilian caught dead in the midst of this soldiers firing and en route to death, any casualty is considered a colateral damage. An accident if you will, but to make a decision to join an army and thereby sign your life to a legitimate suicide death, is just out of this worlds common sense comprehensiion. Wont u all concur??????



In conclusion, or as a result of my musings, i wish to take time to THANK ALLAAH subhannah waa taacla, for creating me, for making me born a muslim, and for giving sound judgement not to be a soldier. Alhamdhulilaah.





Oh.... Happy Sunday, by the way. I think i maybe need to go and watch the movie Duchess again to relieve this pathetic mood i am in! What u say?






PS: Aaahhh this strawberry cake is delicious macaantos. I am tearing from the sweetness it feels in my taste buds. 8)

The iraq children was a collateral damages. I am not per se feeling sorry for dead soldiers more than i feel for the dead iraqi children. The dead iraqi children are casualties of war, at least their death was not by choice.It is equal to a death, like say i get run down by a bus in my street. It is an accident - the victim has no say in it. I am talking about a soldier signing his death. This thread is about the uselessness of a soldiers life. I am not feeling sorry for them. I merely invoking a question of how far a humanbeing will go to disrespect the gift of life he was given by Allaah. Fahamtu yaa kamal habibti?

some merely enjoy the moment and couldn't care less about whats next
And others well, they dont like much about life, infact the only thing thats stopping them from commintting suicide is the grilling fear that they'd be in a pit of burning flames with they shaydaans.

My point is these soldiers you talk about in being so immoral that they "sign their their life to a legitimate suicide death" as you clearly put it... know full well the possible outcome in war - Death, even the 18yr olds- they make a sacrifice

Being that OXY is the ONLY one worth replying to, i will oblige. Oxy sometimes u scare me, to freezing hault. You exude of a dormant, depression that needs attention pronto. Thank God u r religious, otherwise u would have done the unthinkable.

Oxy i somewhat agree with your above quote remarks. Yes, it is a sacrifice that the soldier do, a sacrifice of their life. And for what?? For nothing in my opinion. The only one benefiting from this sacrifice is the civilians and the surving soldiers. Period. As to the part of the quote i DONT agree, is the idea or your point, that the soldiers know full well about the possibility of the outcome, which u mean, a possibility of death, ma ha? Here is where i dont agree. I know for sure no soldier wants to die in a war. And no soldier can be assured survival in a war. So thereby, to my oringinal point, the moment a soldier signs the papers, he is signing his death. Is it worth it if they die?? If they dont die- for sure it is worth it. Like i said, it benefits the civilians and the surving soldiers who are seen as heros, as they should be. But my point was at the alarm of a life wasted. A short life dead for nothing. That is my quandrum.


Lets get back to u Oxy-- Why dont u value your life???? Does it have to do with obesity by chance?? Or a more sinister secret that causes this underlining depression? Enlighten mind are curious, pray Oxy!





PS: I just returned from a wonderful beautiful and glorious outing. Aaaah i need a nice lavender bath now.
