my fathers doc is a jew, he is one of the best docs ever. My dad had couple of bypass surgeries on his Leg artery. The guy called us at home and was really consolidating, which he didn't have to be.

why is it that one connot just be nice and kind to someone else without having to jump to bed with the person? All i'm saying is that there are good and bad in every community and my dads doc is an example that there are those who care for people even if they are considered to be their traditional enemies. Go and sleep on that thought now.

I used the analogy as a metaphor, since you suggested that I "join him at the synagoge." Why must I join him at the synagoge for simply stating a fact about someone who happens to be a Jew?

exactly how are they(the somalis) gonna raise the "funds"? organize jams with fights breaking out between party crashin' somali youth gangs...or organize fund raising by older somali folks where "fadhi-kudirir" fights about qabiil will break out and everyone yelling lacagteydii iisoo celi.

hmm. LMAO @ somalis "raising funds" for another community. we can't even do that for our own causes let alone for someone else.

i hate to say it but Somali Canadians are sooooo disorganized at fund raising. the older folks are involved(if involved at all) in countless different Somali communities(operating in the same city). they can't get along because of qabiil divisions. and younger once..OMG don't even get me started on SSA's for York/U of T/Ryerson. what a mess.

Are you implying there's a correlation between being one of the best docs and a jew? And why doesn't your father has one of the best Muslim docs? I have never heard of a Jew who has one of the best Muslim docs.

He is actually one of the best doctors in his field as stated by College of surgeons and physicians,so I made remark as a fact. As for him being jewish, i'm just stating that this man who is busy and religiously different from us has been really kind and wonderful to the whole family. So, sometimes, people should just judge others by their actions and the rest, leave it to god.

Eventhough there are qualified Muslim docs, some who could be better than the Jewish doctor, you (or your father) prefer the Jewish one. This preference or empowering a Jewish doc over a Muslim one, beats me.
