WE have seen and heard in Afghanistan, Iran and Nigeria again and again with horror about the charges for women for adultery in Islam, (defaming Islam). Where did this rule come from? Who ordered it? It is not mentioned in the Quran anywhere. It was practised before the advent of Islam. On the contrary Allah 'The Merciful', has asked us to whip them with 100 strips, have mercy on them and let them marry to adulterers or idolaters. Merciful Allah has given these sinners another chance in life. God forbid, instead of obeying, we say like previous community "we hear and we disobey."

"The woman and the man guilty of adultery or fornication flog each of them with a hundred stripes: let not compassion move you in their case in a matter "Prescribed" by Allah if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day: and let a party of the Believers witness their punishment. Let no man guilty of adultery or fornication marry any but a woman similarly guilty or an unbeliever nor let any but such a man or an unbeliever marry such a woman: to the Believers such a thing is forbidden." Quran: 24/2-3

How can we understand what Allah says if we do not know the meaning. Thousands of people recite Quran in Arabic but to know the meaning in our own language is essential." Again bear in mind that there is not a single verse within the revealed verses of the Qur'an wherein the penalty of "Stoning to Death" is prescribed by Allah, for any crime or sin. I think we can all learn from this and see the Al-Shabaab group for who they are, they have the slightest idea of Islam and it is clear their just using intimidation and violence not just against the Somali people but also against the Somali government only to scare away civil society activists working to bring about peace through political dialogue and reconciliation.

There is a hadith saxix that talks about the consequences of adultary..look for it. I dont know why you are defending such immoral act?

Walahi, I'm tempted to set this fool straight & show him ample evidence that not only is stoning prescribed punishment for adulterors in Islam, but that it ordered by the Prophet (saw) on different occassions & was practiced during his lifetime & during the other 2 generations of the Salafs.

Allah's Supreme Law, in Sura An-Nur (24):

"A Sura which We have sent down and which We have ordained: In it have We sent down Clear Signs, in order that ye may receive admonition." 24: 1

Again these verse's clearly states that Allah has Himself ORDAINED the Clear Signs so that we may receive the CAUTION and WARNING from it. It is in this sura that it was Revealed that "if ye believe in Allah and the Last Day" then carry out the penalty PRESCRIBED BY HIM for the sin of adultery or fornication. Indeed the act the Al-Shabaab group carried out today is complete opposite of what Allah has ordered us and if you can't see that then I can't help you dear lad.
