Thank you letter to a scholarship donor

I am required to write one up, anybody with good tips on what to put on there ? I have the design, but I am looking on what to put on. Should I just thank them or do I need to put some background about me?

It's Graco, Inc Foundation, They just gave me huge amount of money, and I want to write a professional thank you letter. appreciated for the help!
I have one already written, but I am not sure if the thing I have there is needed. My main concern is the content of the letter. I have the design and everything else
