The dilemma in Somalia: While you all enjoy the peace of the west real people are dying in Somalia; let's just hope both the TFG and Aweys and his cohorts help the world end the crisis in Somalia.

As you know, Dahir Aweys is a wanted terrorist who is on the terrorist list of the US Department of State. Are you suggesting that the USA, Europe and UN deal with a wanted terrorist?

The fact is there are elements within the TFG that are working against peace, I think they should have been routed out long ago so let's just say I'm glad that this issue is being discussed.
Here is Abu Mansuur broke arse enjoying a ride on top of a TFG owned vehicle; Again Somalia owes Ethiopia a thank you for speaking up against the those within the TFG who continue to assist the Anti-TFG folks.

AbuShabab,
On 1-20-2009 it seems Obama will bring a different tone in Washington, so yeah as long as Aways and his cohorts are willing to give peace a chance anything is possible dear lad.

Maybe they will elect a new Warlord as the next president. This a never ending saga. I truly believe the only man that can safe somalia is sheik shariff. He Seems to be thinking more about the ordinary people who die everyday.

Obama's policies aren't going to be that much different.
THE USA HAS NO POLICY for Somalia. No one (world powers) gives a shid about it and no one has a vested interest in it besides Somalia's neighbours.
Quit wasting your time on pointless Somali politics which has no end and will kill hundreds of thousands of more.
