Iga jaahil bixiya bal....

Post by suga_n_spice »

horta, mar hadaan dad soomaaliya nahay, ma dhaqan baa markuu guurka dhacayo in ee gabadha reerkeeda kaliya ee meesha maamulaan?!

i mean the other day, my mom and i were having a discussion about weddings etc. and she said "it's the girls family whose responsible for everything" ...... of course not money, but u know? the usual things, food, dance, house decorations etc. laakiinse, waan yaabey markee tidhi "the guyz family has no input" :o

i understand if she chooses what kind of furniture she wants and so forth, but why not at least consider what the guyz family wants. his mother, sisters, aunts. i mean what r they suppose to do, dress up and just sit there?!

ayaan hore, adeerkee baa gursanayey and i was so excited cuz i was gonna get a chance to attend my uncles wedding and what not, until his wife to be was like "sorry, i'm not coming and sittin in front of all those ladies" :x i was pissed. i seriously wanted to dress her up and force her there, and my aunts were all like "it's her choice, and we can't say anything about it"

personally, i think the guyz family should have some kind of input not just follow the leader

guyz, wouldn't u want ur family to have a say?!

abaayo waxaa laga cabsanaah in dhib dhoco hadii ay wax isla maamulaan. for example it very common in marka habargidirta iyo majeerteenka isguursanaayaan inta naagaha buraanbur leesku caayo in naagaha isdilaan oo katiinadaha iska jarjaraan. kadibna gabadha iyo wiilka lakala wato. marka this is much safer      hadii kale meeshii aroos noqon leheed world war 3 aa dheceeso. ayeeyaa waxee ii sheegtay in one time gabadhii wiilka aroosaayay inta loofasaxay ay naaga cidiisa ah kudheheen dhaqankeena waxaa ah in timaha laga xiiro gabadha. markaas ay naagtii oo tima lehen inta keeneen ay waxay dheen way waalantahay :D

back in the day ( the baadiye days) marka uu wiilku gabadha la soobaxo the guys family used to take care of everything and the girls family used just get the dowry, i think we should return to the our old ways on this one

I understand completely what u mean, i've been thru a few weddings this year, and i've found to contest tradition is futile.....

Even when out dated and illogical they still go on and do it, i still can't believe some of it.But it's best to bite your tong, there is always a reason for things :rose:

In hindsight it will make sense...
