Almost four hours. I was speaking to one of the cops there and he informed me people have been showing up as early as 6:00 am since September 30.

I'm a registered democrat, tempted to vote on Monday, kinda afraid of having to answer to Allah for endorsing a candidate who supports homo shagging & abortion.
Fah & Qansa,
Is it a religious issue for you guys? Gimme your input.

None whatsoever. This is a domestic policy issue. We are well aware that he is the most far left Liberal in the US Senate. And Muslims in this country are right dead in the center. We are very conservative on moral and social issues, but more liberal in terms of policy and those individual freedoms the constitution guarantees us and that have been attacked on by the neo-cons.
He is just flat out more intelligent and better in terms of his domestic outlook and ending the war in Iraq.
US Foreign policy is all the same no matter who you vote for, Obama just isn't going to be trigger happy with the military...I just wish they'd leave Afghanistan too, cause al qaeda is a myth!
But this is all about the domestic outlook, Obama and a democratic congress will invest in the people more than Bush and the republican congress did in 2001-2006

Fah,
I agree both issues are State issues and there's really nothing Obama can do to change them. I meant as an ideology, endorsing someone who's in favor of such things is a little concerning, don't you think?
I know its choosing the lesser of two evils and as Muslims, we'd probably fare better under Obama than under another trigger-happy republican. Economy, education, employment, etc. are all home runs for Obama, he's got my support.

koronto, the President of the US can't really change or put an ideology of moral/societal issue...I mean, we already have Roe v. Wade...theres not going to be a constitutional amendment for gay marriage legalizing it and what not
I'm not concerned about it, we're in a gaalo country, what do you expect...the culture is the culprit...in America 50 years ago, it was much more conservative for example...
its a sign of the times
