I don't know about ur neck of the woods, but where I'm from, white people are talking about the 13 year old rape victim that was stoned to death by the devil organisation. They're taking it out on Islam, saying that Muslims are evidently sick barbarians and that basically Somalis are a waste of sperm that should have made its way on some kleenex tissues instead of a woman's womb, obviously not in those terms.


I don't care about this perse, what I do find concerning is that the Muslim world is shocked and condemning all Somalis altogether. Sharing the sentiment that Somalis are ignorant jaahiliin who have no clear understanding of Islam. Almost comparing us to heretics istaqfurullaah.

I agree Somalia has hit rock-bottom with the latest Kismayo incident. I watched Fox local news, and I was surprised when they mentioned the story. The female reporter said 'this is the most barbaric act I have ever heard'

I haven't seen the the reports on the networks I watch. CNN and MSNBC. The US is engrossed in election so a story like this wouldn't be a permanent feature on the news.

PS: If you believe in clan, you had no pride to begin with at all. I don't understand why somalis would cry foul with others charging them to be barbaric, because, simply put, somalis are barbarians because of their primitive clan mentality.

Barbaric acts are nothing new to people who follow Somali news closely. The most barbaric stuff I ever heard of were from the early and mid 90s, when old women were raped inside mosques, old men torn apart in pieces by tying their limbs to 4 vehicles.


But those were hate-crimes, qabiil on qabiil violence. This one is different, Islam is being used to justify this criminal act. So I think this one takes the cake as the prime example of the abysmal situation our country is in at the moment. It's no suprise that the victim belongs to a marginalized minority..again.
