Wisdom Teeth

Okay, I got my braces off in April, I'm wearing my retainers now everyday

are the Wisdom Teeth going to affect the other teeth by crunching them together? I have one growing right now

Have any of you gotten your wisdom teeth removed?

I am of the rare breed that don't have wisdom teeth

But i've seen how awful it is.....u gotta wait for em to grow out then get them pulled....not nice!!!!!!

I had all four of mine out just prior to going to Somalia. My passport photo and all the pictures for several weeks show me with one side of my face still swollen. One was impacted and had to be surgically removed.

Don't let that stop you. Third molars are not desireable in most arches and can mess up the rest of the mouth. Get an opinion from at least one dentist that you trust. If you go for it, have an oral surgeon do it under sedation. It's normally just two weeks to full recovery.

I guess I'll have to see the local guy and my cousin is a dentist too, I'll have to see if she can do it

I have one wisdom tooth growing all the way in the back of my upper mouth

18 to 21.16 being the youngest you can get.And some people never develop wisdom teeth.
