A Question For The Wadaad's?

I have a Dilemma which is iam signed up as an Organ Donor incase something happens to me but than today at the Mosque i asked the Imaam and he said it is wrong and one should be buried intact with all their organs. Also i watched a Video of two sheikhs arguing about this issue so anyone care to enlighten me on what does the Quran say about this issue. I think am going to go to the nearest Drivers License Office if what i did was wrong.

Also i might go with the Tabliiq people to NC and TN on my winter break.

Screw, thats just a myth, doctors do everything possible to save their patients first and foremost.
K-Awdal, why would saving someone else's life be considered xaraam?? if your organs can help others to live..I dont see the logic of banning that..

I remember hearing a scholar saying the Prophet (saw) said that after a Muslim dies; his body is sacred, autopsies, organ donations, etc. are not permitted. His/her body should be intact and left alone. Only to be washed with pure water and handled very gently.
Let me research it for you more thoroughly.

So, the personal opinions of Snetters are more valid/enlightening than what your Imaam or videos of respected and well known sheikhs tell you? What kind of stupidity is this?

The screw
My Logic was if iam brain dead what good is eyes or heart or some organ going to do for me. Iam already dead and i might as well safe someone else life.
Kolombo
That was the same thing my Imaam told me but somehow i think even he didnt have an answer, i dont think he was ever asked this question.
Cawar
That was my logic but i have been hearing conflicting reports so far my father say's it ok but my mother wants to kill me.

Sxb. that's what the Sheikh was saying. If it can be avoided, because the Muslim person's body is sacred & should be dealt with gently.
Allahu Aclam.

Here's the hadith I was talking about:
Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Breaking the bone of the deceased is like breaking it when he was alive." Narrated by Abu Dawood (2792).
Again, Allahu Aclam!

Personally speaking I wouldn't do it, I have low trust for doctors, and demands for Organs are high.
They are disgraceful, how many times have they cut up Somalis even though they were asked not too.
Let me tell you my experience with them, my relative died from Lung cancer (AUN), and although she went to hospital, and did not die at home, they still cut her up, on the basis that they did not know what she died from

What made me soooooooo angry and upset was that she was complaining from chest pain, spitting up blood, they are doctors? She has been admitted to hospital perviously! Are they that stupid that Lung cancer was not on their list of what might be ailing her?
We don't know if they took some of her Organs cause the whole process is privately done.
The Pakistani community have told us that they only do this to Somalis.....

We as a community are weak in England and not as organised as the Asian muslims. So they take advantage of us.
BTW Tabliiq is a great way to boost your iman....mashallah
Wasalam

I don't remember who it was exactly but some comedian was talking about how he would never be an organ donor and his reasoning was, "if we were brought back to life, I wouldn't want to be blind because I donated my eyes to some kid in Wisconsin". It didn't make much sense but that shiit had me laughing.
