What are other good careers not required univeristy degree?

i know many somali dudes who were in college for over 10 years and whose only life ambition is just to finish university. their life is meaningless till they finish university. most of them dont finish and become taxi drivers, security guards or workers in abbatoirs killing animals, most of them end up in these non-skilled low paid jobs.

have you ever met a somali electrician, plumber, heavyduty engine mechanic, aircondition, heating technician, electronic technician. there are over 10,000 technical jobs which are better paid than a dude who spent 6 years and studied stupid subjects such as commerce, international trade-relations, teaching or social work in universities, why can't somalis take the opportunity to learn these skills and stop attending colleges till they are middle aged? the other thing is somalis suffer from low self-esteem and are the only race who will lie about their educational achievements just to please others and be viewed as an important person.

I run into my ex a while back and the b1tch is making over 90,000 a year, and she's a high school dropout. She works with Chrysler dealer and convices gullible white elders to upgrade or buy new Chrysler, and in return she get's huge commission. She has a talent in persuading people though

I know a family friend who makes $22.00 an hour Driving City bus.

I got cousins in seattle who are Corrections officers making $28.00 an hour with just their high school diplomas. They work with inmates alittle dangerious but dam it pays.

Law Enforcement Officer, Firefighter,/Paramedic, Corrections Officer, or Dispatcher.

It only takes a high school diploma to get any of those jobs.

Working on oil rig as a drillers, roughneck etc are good careers. Tough job, but it pays well and you don't work the whole year. You only need a couple years at a community college I believe.

Somali's should really get into trade jobs, electricians, carpenter etc, there's a demand for it and it pays well. It Beats being a taxi or truck driver,or going to university only to end up with a useless degree. But I guess it depends on the person's aspirations. Some people are more resourceful than others no matter what degree they have.

Somalis never think about the long term goals or anything into the future for that matter. Moreover, they want fast money and now, and the believe "I want to be my own boss". Being a electrican, carpenter etc will require commitment, patience something we are not so fond of. They want to drive around and listen to BBC and have time for fadhi ku dirir early in the evening everyday.

The training would be past HS...a college diploma or certificate. You cant equate it to getting a job training at a retail store or a Hotel.
