Bosaso is much better than Hargeisa + you have a beach and mountains.

And it's cheaper.

Few miles? 150 km driving is not a few miles

Actually the summer heath on the gulf of aden coast in S/land, P/land is good for your health, you sweat all the toxins out and you will become fresh again.
The heath is only for two months, the winter in Europe and America of 5 months is much worse.

What I also dislike about Hargeisa is that they have Qurac trees with big thorns growing everywhere, those things are dangerous. In bosaso they cut those and plant nice palm trees.

nobody lives in the coast during the summer
everyone gets away from gubanka(coast of s/land)
to the oogo which is where hargeisa borama and sheikh and ceerigabo are located
or they go hawdka like burco

those qurac trees ur talking about
there used to be way more back in the day
i did not see any of those trees except in the centre

Dawwa Bosaaso is fine... indeed that beautiful turkois blue ocean...
it must be excellent to have a villa near the beach.

Image

Bosaaso...

But you can't beat Hargeisa for 5 good reasons

1) Climate lovely wind and cool ... it doesnt get hotter then 30-32 C IN summer... rest of year its like Cape Town
2) Nature just 15 miles south of the city you have the great Salahley savannahs real safari style.
And West of Hargeisa you will find many find plantations where reer hargeisa go for picnics and eid celebrations.
Eating all kinds of fruits.. just enjoying the countryside.
3) Hargeisa is the city where something is always going on , its small and big!
4) Hargeisa is the city of thousand mosques , watch out Harar here we come!
5) Hargeisa might be a regular african town with poor facilities compared to great cities like Cairo or Accra.
But the optimism is to feel and touch.. you know the place is a gold mine waiting to explode in estate prices and business

You honestly got everything... and the potential is great ...

I would'nt mind having a beach house or hotel resort in Bosaaso
the spectacular mountains and ocean as dawwa stated..

but dawwa you and I know only one city can rival Hargeisa and thats Xamar...
we got the finest girls

tropical and tropical.. I agree bosaso is good.
but Hargeisa gots more to offer... plus its like the Europe of East Africa....
you got Addis , Harar , Jigjiga , Djibouti , Borama all extremely close....!
