Nur Caade has done much to contribute to the Ethiopian withdrawal and promotion of peace in Konfurta:
1. Freed the political prisoners in the TFG/Ethiopian gulags as soon as becoming PM.
2. Helped politically isolate antipeace elements in the TFG i.e. Yusuf and Mohamed Dheere.
3. Promoted talks and outreach to the Muqawama including Shabab
4. Fought to defend the Constitution and division of power from an overreaching Executive who had run the TFG by decree.
5. Contributed heavily to pressuring the International Community to tell the Ethiopians to leave
Why change now when Nur Caade has delivered so much ? He has the confidence of the international community and is well respected abroad. Nur Caade can help bring home the much needed international aid and support to help rebuild Somalia.
Now is not the time to select a new rookie.

I agree with AW, that Nuur Adde should get elected because he helped get rid of that traitor AY and Mohmmed Dhere.
Nuur Adde needs to work with the UIC, both need each other and somalia needs them to work with each other.

SOS,
Nur Caade is willing to do that.
Lets be honest, a Wadaad won't sell in the international community not now, maybe 5 yrs down the road.

To be honest i have respect for the fella cos of his stance against the habesh. Laakin 2009 is make or break for somalia. If there is another power struggle than were in trouble laakin, if a strong leader manages to reconcile the different opposing tribes than somalia could have bright future inshallah.

Abdi,
If only he wasn't part of the TFG... I'm still iffy about this TFG thing.
Anyway, this year is their chance to redeem themselves now that AY is out of the picture.
Off topic, r u going to the inauguration/party?

Nobleman,
He believes in speaking to his opposition and striking a deal. A true diplomat and peacemaker.
The Konfur leaders have tended to adopt adversarial stances against their oppositions: my way or war but not with Nur Caade.

Demure,
But look what he did as a member of the TFG ! More than could be done outside the TFG.
As for the inauguration, I am not freezing my butt off for Obama.

Than by all means let him lead!
