Im known for having the best fake accents!

But I have a canadian accent for the most part...but I do say some words in the british accent like "cant" "water" "babe" even tho Ive never lived in the UK or any country that was part of Brit. Colony.

Techinically yes. But we dont really follow any preceedings by the queen. We have our own government and judicial system. We dont 'take orders' from britian so to speak.
And we most notibaly do not speak like brits.
Although, when I spent some time on the far east coast...there was a hint of irish in the dialect there but thats because the majority of the anncestory there are irish.

The Queen is the although a member of the Royal Family she holds very litte with any constitutional role though her Royal Prerogative remains bound by laws enacted by her in parliament and by conventions and precedents. Therefore leaving the day to day functions to the Cabinet.
