The Lyrics

Post by Gatspy »

LOST!

Just because I'm losing
Doesn't mean I'm lost
Doesn't mean I'll stop
Doesn't mean I'm in a cross

Just because I'm hurting
Doesn't mean I'm hurt
Doesn't mean I didn't get what I deserve
No better and no worse

I just got lost
Every river that I've tried to cross
And every door I ever tried was locked
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off...

You might be a big fish
In a little pond
Doesn't mean you've won
'Cause along may come
A bigger one

And you'll be lost
Every river that you try to cross
Every gun you ever held went off
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the firing stops
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off

Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off
Ooh-Oh, And I'm just waiting till the shine wears off...

I'm not a fan but I really like that tune. For some reason, it reminds me of the beatles' "across the universe", I'm not sure why

lol thats the one with Guru Deva right? there was a very funny reference skid about that on the movie Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story  . I only like a couple of Beatles tunes, the rest were just too weird. Only Lennon was the talented one, the other dudes r just overrated bunch of talentless fools including Dogface McCartney.

Not that many bands take the time to write these days but CP actually tries to put some meaning into their lyrics.

Right Gat, that's the one...One of my all time favorites Beatles tunes along with "while my guitar gently weeps"...fact that whole "white album"

Check out this rendition at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame...I can't get over Prince's solo, basically the last half of the performance! SICK!!!
