Dahabshiil Money Transfer Receives an Islamic Bank License From Djibouti

Hargeisa, 28 Jan 2009 (Somalilandpress) - Dahabshiil Inc. which is the largest and the leading financial services provider in the Horn of Africa has received a license to open an Islamic Bank in the country of Djibouti.

Dahabshiil which pioneered the Hawala or money transfer business was founded in 1970 and today it has thousands of agents around the world. Dahabshiil is mostly used by expatriates from Africa and Middle East.

If you ask someone if it is haram or not you have to outline the terms of the contract, How do we know if its not a profit sharing scheme or anything else? Full terms of the contract needs to be outlined.
