The clock is ticking
And we hare headed to yet another uncertainty. For 100th time, we are building a government in a foreign country. Why not hold a big conference in Moqdisho or in Garowe and bring all Somalis together?

Do you honestly thing Xamar means anything anymore? Sooner than later, Puntland will form its own governing nation and separate from the rest, and Somaliland has already. In the end, we will see who was more productive, and who really caused the unyielding destruction.

Because then nobody can claim that a certain qabiil had an advantage over another qabiil because the gathering was held at such a qabiils degaan and people of those degaans had an illegal impact on the conference/meeting.
Besides, who's going to pay for the hotel and food?
I get the idea that these so called mp's are just in the so called governments because they're enjoying the free services they recieve in hotels.
That's what happens if governments don't contain any forward thinking individuals.
God knows what shall happen when another extra 275 people shall join, we all remember that chaotic video of the tfg's so called 'parliament' where the police had to form a barrier between the animals and Aden madoobe & Nuur Cadde.

Cali Gaab, I hear you, but I am talking about traditional elders(you call it Guurti), not those warlords and 'Xildhibano' bullsh1t. Each major clan should bring their traditional elders and agree on something

Many people declared A.Yusuf to be a warlord, so the individuals that are running for his previously held position are the lower levels of human life in Xamar. What was the difference, perhaps many of you are oblivious but qabiil plays a part. If these individuals once and for all admit they do not want Darood in "their" quarters, that would seem more tangible, rather than pretending to be open minded.

Captain, i don't think the elders of the Hawiye tribes have got any major impacts on its people. If they did they would have stopped the Hawiye inter-clan violence in Muqadishu in the 90's.
That what the elders are for, to put an end to interclan violence and disagreements by putting forward the best available resolution. Which is the reason why the Hawiye can not be represented by them in such meetings.

Re: The clock is ticking
Why is Djibouti in Somali affairs? Why is Ethiopia? What is Eritrea? Why are these conferences? It is useless, and baseless. It is another distraction. Somalis need to go their separate ways that is the only way. Talking has not made any concrete changes in the past, and it will not today. Old men, with old politics will not work. Old men, who are power hungry, will not work. Old men, who are opportunists, will not work.

Alluring, we just can't go away, seeing that we are are important part of Somalia. Somalia without Putland, and the identity is gone. We need to work with these people, even though they have proved to be savages throughout the years

Fah, we know where we are from. You have no sense of attachment to Somalia, heck you can't even speak the language and don't even know if you're Hawiye or not. So you can can it thank you very much.

That is the point, the only thing holding Somalia together is Puntland. Not anymore though, watch and see. And we are taking our flag with us.Captain24 wrote:Alluring, we just can't go away, seeing that we are are important part of Somalia. Somalia without Putland, and the identity is gone. FAH, you are not technically a somali so it is not the same for everyone as it is for you. Like I said before, Puntland should go its own way by itself or join Somaliland.
