Regional Authorities Ordered to Conscript Local Militia's

Jan 28, 2009 Reports reaching our Ogaden Online News service desk from the city of JigJiga confirm a recent rumor that all the regional authorities (Kilils) were ordered to conscript local militias.
It is said that this order was issued by the minister of defense of the Tigrian clique in Addis Ababa. This order follows the sudden and unexplained withdrawal of the regime's soldiers from Somalia. In the order issued by the minister of defense, it specifically required the so-called Somali administration to conscript an army numbering about 3,000. It is said that the local administration is now scrambling to fulfill the order, but unable to get enough militias to number the required target.
