It's probably Maxamed Ibrahim Cigaal as he was influential in the SYL in getting independence from the british and italians. He also was the prime minister to Cabdirashid Sharmarke, not to mention single-handedly bringing peace and stability to SL.Ducaysane209 wrote:It shud be Abdirahman tuur he karbashed the last remaining Siyaad Gov in somaliland without him as a leader of snm they wud hav failed if silanyo was still leader

Btw, I know tuur was the leader of SNM but what role did dhegaweyne play in SNM?

i dnt no wat u talking about as a hero of SNM Those who freed somaliland i wud say abdirahman tuur is most influential hero period 2 -1990s allahu Naxariisto
but if u say cigaal well his mostly infuential because for bringing stablity to sland but u always must remember he negotiated with all the clans in somaliland then reached a fair agreement thats what he was best at allah uu naxariisto thats wat he was best at he was a peace loving civilian leader
but what abdirahman tuur was a fighter and also a president so he wasnt the realli peace loving type

I wasn't old enough to know what Tuur(Aun) did, but from what I heard he was the reason for the inter-clan wars - within Isaaq and the killing of Samaroon - after the SNM defeated the SNA.Ducaysane209 wrote:i dnt no wat u talking about as a hero of SNM Those who freed somaliland i wud say abdirahman tuur is most influential hero period 2 -1990s allahu Naxariisto

well tuur aun wen he was replaced he accused da egal government of cheatin within the government seats giving the seats 2 his own clan thats what started it - it was something 2 do with the government cheating . but also after tuur wanted somaliland 2 go bak 2 somalia which fuelled da war more by aun aided as he was a good friend wid tuur aun he was supplying him and his militias SNM wid weapons against the government but eventually everybody got fed up of tuur and his ideology wen aided aun died eventually things came bak 2 calm it shows it was aided aun who was fuelling the war in somaliland

Is this what the children in north are tought today? it seems Somalis invested clan idealogy wholeheartedly..... lets wait and see the return or reward.
