My Thoughts on Somalia and The Election.

Post by King-of-Awdal »

First and Foremost for the first time in my life time i listened to a Somali Politician Speak  and let's just say iam inspired. Let me remind you people this the best chance you people will get to fix your country and unite and build a great nation. Who would have thought Somalia would elect a non warlord president? I know i curse somalia out everyday and have said many stupid things but it wasnt because i hated you people or your country, but i was dissapointed. Imagine your big brother becoming a looser and the laughing stock of the world. How would you people have felt? It was for that Reason i said all those thing about Somalia but now iam praying for that country. Imagine the day i can fullfill my dream of driving from Djibouti all the way to Kismaayo without anyone stopping me or killing me. There is more to be done and for the first time all the warlord's have been sidelined and to those who want to wage more war, i say you can get the upper hand if you wait for an election. :som:

WELL DONE ZOOMALIA. HAD TO SNEAK IN THAT.

Walle walle, its the sole reason why I'm anti-Somaliland. If the next president grows a spine and tells those habashi's what time it is then we are moving in the right direction, but if the next admin carries on where this one left off, fock em. Even if its Silanyo.

King of Awdal, this was bogus selection process, and You know it.....

The only way for this government to work is if Sh.Sharif is willing to pick up the gun and confront a lot of groups out there, something that won't work, cuz It didn't even work for Abdullahi Yusuf and his army.

The reality is Putland isn't represented in this hastily organized 'Elections', and same with Al-shabab from Jubbaland. Sh.Sharif has an enormous task waiting for him, and It will be interesting how he would deal with it

general its lack of recognition thats keeping us an ethiopian protectorate....
ethiopia does not want somaliland to be recognized becuase it will lose its control overnight..

and we dont have strong leadership to present even a little bit of a challenge..

Ethiopia needs berbera more than we need ethiopia. the long term security and economic health of ethiopia demands a friendly government and free trade in somaliland...

they have nust been bullying us and we have become punks

I hope too it will be different but i doubt it. For me i cant stand the habesh and for that iam willing to be ruled and mistreated by fellow somali and muslim than a filthy habesh. My first and foremost enemy are the habesh.

Captian

I have never seen even my parents be so happy with an outcome of a somali election and i think this time your countrymen are united behind this man like never before. Forget about puntland and everything else and hope for the best.

KOA,

There's a Super bowl party on Sunday over at Fox Sports Grill near Fox theatre. Snazzy little joint, me and some friends are going to kick there, you're welcome to join us. Steelers should easily mow down the Cardinals.

I agree with you a 100%, so why do we assume that our enemy, ethoipia, is our friend and our friends somalis are our enemy. I dont understand this logic, walle.
We could try and find a frame work thats benfitial to both somalia and somaliland, but we seem to have a zero tolarance approach to any kind of contact with somalia at the sametime mountains are moved to appease ethoipia. It makes no sense. Why is it we are happy with this postion of being ethoipias protecterate and progress is not made to find a solution, other then independence, which is as far as it was 20 years ago.

I tell you because the people of Somalia are against Somaliland existence, Ethiopia is not against Somaliland existence its only against a strong Somaliland that can challenge them. A strong Somaliland with out Ethiopian influences can change the horn , Ethiopia who Is landlocked wants to have a port they are not loved in the region not in Somalia not in Eritrea not in Djibouti. The only lil friend they have is Somaliland. But when Somaliland has good leadership who is willing to establish good ties with other country's in the region such as Yemen Sudan eritrea etc things can change. But if Somalia government for once except Somaliland and respect its borders it people, then Ethiopia will think twice before its invades Somalia because you have a strong Somaliland next to you. And Somaliland will lose the Political influences Ethiopia has on them we will both win.
