French business and Politician delegation arrived Hargeisa

Hargeisa (JMG)- An 11 man French business and political delegation arrived here yesterday afternoon, in what is described here to be an economic and business delegation.

First Secretary of the French Embassy in Djibouti. Mr.Thierry Chiushier speaking to the media at Egal International Airport said “I am leading this delegation on behalf of our ambassador in Djibouti. This is my sixth visit to Somaliland and the strong delegation is an indicator of the good relation between the two countries. This is an economical delegation.”

The French delegation includes Chairman of BCIMR French Bank in Djibouti Mr.Ould Yahya and Mr. Cabouche who is head of the Horn of African Desk. Mr. Rafael Santos from the French Embassy in Nairobi is expected to arrive here today.

The French delegation will meet their counter parts in Somaliland bank, Chamber of Commerce, security officials and businessmen.
