Obama Administration

Post by Aerosmith »

Are they f-king inept or just buying time. Last week it was bad bank policy. This week, a cap of executive pay. Today a new ring concept to help ailing big banks!!! WFT :x Is this how a leader and his crew should behave, flip flopping from one concept to the other. So much for voting for a spineless dude. Walahi he ought to man up and decide what to do with these useless insolvent big banks. Why must the whole damned world be help captive by Obama and his team as they stall time!!
So much for 'democracy'. Its obvious the administration cannot man up and nationalize worthless big banks.

Phuck you Obama and Geithner. :x

Fah I am with you on this. Let Citi and BoA fail or be nationalized. Is common sense, the weak must be eliminated.

Nationalising in America would be a big deal see how much crap they got for AIG and it's not like they had much of a choice with that. I think the policies he put on the table are all good policies and when they are implemented they will be beneficial to the economy. But the difference between the political world and the financial world is politicians will never rush into a decision they need to consider and then reconsider. The worst has happened to the people and I don't feel an iota of pity for the markets you guys should earn your pay while the government works out the best way to heal the economy.

Policies are useless unless implemented. My problem with Obama and his administration is their indecisiveness. At least with Hank Paul and Bush they did things swiftly, while raping the common folks. Some lost, others gained. He should stop listening to Goldman Sachs as they put their house in order and hedge their bets. The sooner we deal with this the better. I am
for all, let this banks fail, nationalize them or give them another round of direct unlimited guarentee from treasury line. The last option being the worst. How far did bulking up Citi help it! It will only postpone the inevitable and leave future generations picking the tap.

Again phuck you Obama and Geithner.

You're a brit! Good luck there. I am with you on the GBP issue though. My take is the euro will pass the pound within the next 4 to six months. Basically GBP will hyper inflate against all currencies by than as UK has nothing the world wants.

So much for British Royalty. God save the Queen eh.

Piss taker

The UK will not give up the sterling that easily though, it means a lot to them. I know they are having meetings constantly talking about the 0% implications. This is when I am glad I did not go into IB

Aerosmith,

He is a spineless prick who can't stand up to the Congressional Democratic leadership. He should cut these banks off and take a page out of the Republican handbook at offer more tax breaks in the stimulus bill.

Tax breaks

Massive spending

Maybe it's the learning curve but the obama team is uncharacteristically sluggish right now. Sort of like the Celts and the mini-funk they went through after that Christmas day loss to the lakers. Still they came back nicely and are now sitting pretty with 12 wins in a row so I hope Obama can learn a thing about making adjustments. btw, I noticed something about this guy... He's like me...hadaladu wey ka soo dhacdhacaan at times. In a recent sit-down with a guy from one of the networks, I think Matt Lauer, he remarked that he'd been displaced from the covers of the teenybopper magazines by Jessica Simpson and her battle with weight. The poor girl's been in denial about it, calling her muffin tops "curves" and he blasts her on national television like that. When she sees that interview, I imagine Jessica Simpson sobbing inconsolably, a finger permanently lodged down her throat or go the other way and bury her face in a 4 Litre bucket of Ice Cream
