Lending money

A guy friend of mine asked me to lend him 350 pound, my Initial reaction was :shock:. A guy asking a girl that he is not even close to for money plus he has finshed uni and has a stable job whilst i am only 18, is embrassing somahaa? or is it just me :shock:

^^^ he is having some problems and i could Sympathize with that emotionally not financially plus asking me should be the last thing he should do.
