The Era of South islamist Warlords

It is apparent to all, that the era of warlords oriented towards clan interest (or at least what they understood under it)came to an end around 2006 and anno 2009 is irrelevant in South Somali politics.

Anno 2009, the main factions have a Islamic color (and not the known clan color) and are engaged in a politico-military conflict for political power.

We have Alshabaab, Raas Kamboni, Jabhad Islamiya, ICU-Asmara, ICU-Jabuti, ICU-Somalia etc etc etc.

The South Somali masses, particularly those from Mogadishu and other Southern regions have suffered at the hands of the secular warlords who all claimed to be fighting for a particular clan interest.

the South Somalis repeate the same mistakes and they waste valuable time and lives in defending or supporting the different South Islamist warlords who all claim to be fighting for a particular ''Islamic'' interest.
