The Elusive Satan
Inspired by Babygirl's thread ''LOL''
I remembered an interesting discussion i had with a somali colleague last year. This dude was telling of old folk tales back in Somalia where if one literally takes an ablution using his/her own piss, he will get to meet and come face to face with the Elusive Satan!
In all honestly this is gotta be the most ridiculous joke!! The only way to meet Satan. Besides to fair and all, what will it be like to meet him.
Now hypothetically if one was to do that, is he/she no longer Muslim. What constitutes one to become a disbeliever.

Re: The Elusive Satan
i heard those that do sixir and consult the bad jinns do wadu with their kaadi and face opposite the qibla and prostrate....that's how they receive the services of evil jinns that work directly for satan...not sure if this will allow them to see big ibliis himself though
anyways,
it is not like the rest of us are free from the grasp of shaytaan as it is now...he is whispering into our ears tryna lead us astray till the moment we die....for this and this alone, i'd love to put that illusive yet very present energy to physical form so i can stab it with a Quran engraved dagger.
as for what makes someone an unbeliever? that is entirely of personal will. no one can blame why they've chosen to deny God on something other than their own free will.

Re: The Elusive Satan

can one really make wadu with their urine. i mean is it enuff?!
but anyhow one time my dad was telling us a story about a man who was married to a woman with jin, and the jin in her was deaf

so the poor husband would read quran on her day and night, but the wife would never get better. and then one day a muslim jin came to the husband and said "i am a muslim jin, the jin in ur wife is deaf, and i will help talk to him for u" then i guess hajj came around and the jin went to the hajj and sent his jin friend to help this guy out. the new jin told this guy, please this guy with his wife and said that the other jin died and that he was living since prophet ibrahiim (akr)

Re: The Elusive Satan
Monotheists should not really be afraid of some evil entity in opposition to Allah, that's dualism or Zoroastrianism.
Satan is a metaphor for the urges and desires within us all that have to be suppressed in order to live a moral life. There is no god but Allah, remember?
There's no gigantic red guy with horns who's going to step out of a portal and eat you.
The ideas about some evil entity who is responsible for the evil in the world is a relic of old pagan and dualist religions.
