Dutch MP banned from entering the UK

Asalaamu Alaikum all,

I'm sure you all recal the Dutch MP who made that controversial film titled 'Fitna' which claimed that Islam supports terrorism, well he has been banned from entering the UK.

The Home Office has said:- There was a blanket ban on Mr Wilders entering the UK under EU laws enabling member states to exclude someone whose presence could threaten public security. Furthermore, "The government opposes extremism in ALL forms,"


What do you guys/girls think about this? Should he be allowed to enter? If so, why?

i actually think he will be allowed in to the country thanks to the media hype which has already started. he's said he WILL come to the UK either way.

But the weird thing is, he has been banned, but the screening of the film hasn't. Surely, that should be banned, because its the film which caused offence and much controversy.

I don't believe he's an idiot, if he was he wouldn't have gotten all this media attention. as soon as he decided to make the film he knew what the outcome would be, he's manipulating the media, the people, everyone around him...

If they let him in a lot of people would agree with him....

I think the boob already got more attention than he deserves. He should have been ignored from the begining and dealt with through international pressure from Muslim countries. Just like Israel sanctions anyone and everyone that mocks the holocaust, Muslims should have done the same. I doubt England refusing entry will do much in the long term, but it is a postive step nevertheless.
