A rant about Muslims and their misuse of miracles.

Asalaamu alikum all.

Why is it that Muslims will show a set of pictures ranging from fish to watermelons, extending even to clouds and present them as Miracles of Islam? The only Miracles in Islam are to be found in the Quran and the Sunnah, not a tree that apprears to be doing Rukoo.

What is wrong with muslims?

I think it's nice..as long as you don't show it to people who would change the topic to metaphysics or geology

Muslims are looking for anything to take them out of the hole they dug for themselves and i guess these so called mircles gives them some sort of hope.

But i also believe that Allah can give mircles to any individual he wishes to like he did what some of his sincere slaves.

ok!!! whats wrong if allah shows he's powers and the milracles through nature??? isnt that what makes people aware of our religion and how powerful it is? which non muslim is going to pick up the kittab and read it? manrahimalaah mooyee! but if they see these miracles in nature, they might stop and think.! hmmmm really? let me check this out. it looks odd/intresting. dont you think so?

I'm upset because it dilutes the real miracles that are found within Islam, instead they'll show the non-muslim cloud that says Muhammed (pbuh)! Goodness, clouds have been showing all sorts of names and objects for centuries, anyone can claim that, but can the claim the wisdom found in the Quran?

BV; It is even nicer if they just presented arguments found within the Quran and Sunnah.

As for these mircles or any mircles that have happened after the death of the prophet(pbuh) is up to the person whether they want to accept them or not as long as they dont deny or associate partners with Allah.

Sis, plenty of non-muslim pick up the Quran and read it!!!! As muslims that is the REAL miracle of Islam, and the Sunnah.

They might, but then again, they might not! But WHY use that as an argument? We have miracles within the QURAN?????? Maxa noo diiday kuwas?

To be honest sis, I would never be interested in people who showed me a bunch of fruits, and then said Islam is the true religion. That is not a sound argument. And Wallahu alim. But a Sheikh was talking about this with us.

Ok, what does the word ALLAH written on the clouds do for you?

For me it doesnt do anything. The quran is that which moves my heart. The same quran on our bookshelves at home that we never read.

People get bored easily though, so i guess these mircles gives them a buzz for a while.

I see miracles in my sleep..does that count??

So far I have seen shaytan and he was chasing me..I read so many Acudu Billah and Ayat al Kursi so fast.. till the thing got burned.
I saw hell from a distance..and many ppl were burning.. And..
I saw/felt the qabow/cold of the jannah at my feet..some voice told me it was the air of the Jannah..

And few other things I cant share..so was al of that just a figment of my imagination..or a real miracle?? I dont know really.
