They used to dance like that back in Somalia too. They had some harvest festival in Jilib that was complete madness. A lot of booty shaking, drinking homemade alcohol & fornicating. Even married couples would swap partners during the festival. Ilaaheey ha hanuuniyo, amiin.

My dad was stationed there when I was around 8 and it was just crazy being in Jilib. Place is rainy, dark, humid & green just like Rwanda or Burundi. They had snakes all over the place & baboons, not to mention huge mosquitos & frogs. The Mushunguli mostly kept to themselves and lived on the other side of the river, but their culture was everywhere. Some of them still practiced local religions. Islam wasn't that practiced, just an identity, mostly mixed with local stuff.
