Big up to Somalis in the Twin Cities! Confronting and presenting their views to the media outlets is very imperative in overcoming negative reporting on our community. When/where was this held? I like the doctor; even though he is a medical doctor, he still maintains his Somali manners of talking and conversing. Does anyone know more about this doc?

Marax, Awoowye, I am not still over that crack because I had high expectations for the Shariif. Time will tell!! This greasy guy looks like he needs to take care of himself first! I have never seen a fat and productive person. Remember that Somali proverb “Qofkii tiisa daryeela ayaa tukale daryeeli kara”. How is he gonna run if things don't go their way in Muqdisho

AW,
We let Gaandhi down! Do you know that his family is from Hobyo? There are very well-known Absames whose families are from Hobyo and Gaandhi’s family is one of them. Remember that smart Kassim guy who once acted as the foreign minister of Somalia; his family is also from Hobyo:
