Newly Appointed Ministers of the TFG

Post by QansaGabeyle »

Are any of these people from the region? This selection seems so unfair wallahi. Wasiir Ganacsiga, Warsiirka Arimaha Dibada, Wasiirka Jaalida Dibada and Raysal Wasaaraha all from the same region. Hadii lagu dooran lahaa their qualifications would be one thing but these guys waa wado jaahilo inta badan. I have to say I am very disappointed in this administration for the complete disregard for the 4.5 formula which they seem to have ignored completely. It is not that I support the 4.5 formula but I don't see anyone being picked on based on qualifications either.

Anyway are any of these individuals listed here from Gedo, Galgaduud, Kismayo etc.? I don't recognize any of the names, especially those appointed to the important posts. Good to see Gandi appointed to wasiirka Gaashandiga although he would be a better prime minister than the current one.

ps. Please no rants and child exchanges of insults. No emotional outbursts please.

1 waziir? lol

Qansa,

Meel aan maamul lahayn waa meel aan jirin. Gedo, Caabudwaaq rightfully will get very little representation due to their instable situations. You got people like Abu Mansuur, Xassan Turki having secret meetings with this Gov saying "We can deliver Gedo, Jubboinka"

qansa, what the hell do u expect? of course ministers are not picked for their merits, but for their clan affiliations, yes even this time around. even if they're qualified for their jobs, what the hell can they do without even a janitor and a shilin? it's all about appeasing the clans and the warring groups.

ARS getting their share, Puntland getting their share, HG taken care of. Now it's all about talking to Al Shabaab..

Wasiirka Arimaha Dibada = Isaaq (Raage Omaar's brother)

Wasiirka Jaaliyada Dibada = pointless, no portfolio

Wasiirka Ganacsiga = exists for developed countries but pointless for Somalia (all money is handled by Wasiirka Maaliyada), besides Cirro can't read or write

But one thing that is indha adeeg is how the prime minister who is Majeerteen, named two Majeerteens for minister positions.

But then again Mareexaan deserve it, for 15 years they were represented by illiterates who fought over villages and warlords. You reap what you sow and you are nothing today.

The minister for Mareexaan is ina goonjeex, one of the deputy prime ministers with another non-existent portfolio in today's Somalia. The good thing about this is he is the Minister for Energy and Petroleum so Puntland, as part of the TFG-ruled land, (which is what all these iska gadis done by Shiekh Sharif is for) can't try to do schit with Range and other stuff without ina Goonjeex getting involved and if I know ina Goonjeex (I met him this summer) he will get in there with both of his hands.

Scratch the only Majeerteen in the wasiirada is Cirro for Ganacsiga.

That Azhari for the other pointless portfolio is not the Majeerteen Azhari Abdullahi Yusuf supporter

That Azhari is Yusuf Cumar Azhari and this Azhari is Cabdullahi Axmed Cabdulle Azhari

This Azhari is Leelkase, the other MJ Azhari is the Prime Minister's brother in law.

Even Dashiishe (Jurille) and Awrtable (M Abdi Yusuf) have one wasiir each.

  That is too funny saaxibow but even those guys waa la qadiye.

Starscream, appeasing clans needs to stop wallahi. I would no problem if not a single guy in those was not from my region if the selected ministers were capable men that make this government into a real government. I am personally just tired of this lawlessness in Somalia and want to see a good government coming into place.

Voltage, How many deputy prime ministers are there and why are there more than one? And is Goojeex the only person from the mentioned regions in this cabinet? Saaxib I am interested to learn more about him since I have never heard of him before. Any information on him? Would you say he is a good man qualified to hold the position he was appointed to? By the way, it is not really in our interest compete with other somali clans for the moment in my opinion.

Horta in looks he kind of resembles Cusmaan Caato. But for what I observed even with alot of other man he is a man who never talks first and when he talks he talks in very calm and measured way. He is not the warlord type, and even though I don't his education level during Siad Barre government he was a civil servant, Maareeye ayuu dhawr meelod ka ahaa. In conduct the closest person he seems like in national politics is Axmed Cabdisalaan. He is married to a reer Maxamed Siyaad lady and his sister and her kids (reer bicidyahan) don't live that far from my family here.

Basically like axmed cabdisalaan he seems like the type who will break you with siyaasad. He seemed like the type who can outsmart and outfox people with just plain siyaasad that is why he will be good for dealing with Puntland and those contracts.

good government waxaa ka horeeya: an all-inclusive government. first get the relevant elements on board and work on creating a situation in which we can work together, then there will be a real government sxb.

somaliland and puntland started out the same way, ministers, governors, mayors were purely appointed to appease their families. sometimes the kaaba-qabiil would reject an educated guy and push forward an illiterate thug, b/c he's closer to him on a personal level, labada ninna adeer ayuu uu yahay kawaran. it's a phase Somalis apparently have to go through when building a state.

now both are a bit closer to having a capable, professional cabinet, but still have a long way to go from making the appeasement of qabiils a non-issue. for every excellent minister in SL and/or PL, there is a jaad-addicted af-miinshaar on another post.
