He used siyaasad, pure siyaasad to break Ethiopian occupation, to break Abdullahi Yusuf, and to end his government and he accomplished that. Whether ppl celebrate he is not part of government or not, he did the job he was supposed to do and he did successfully.

The full credit has to go to Al-shabab and other groups who never gave the Ethiopian peace of min. I doubt going back and forth to addis ababa by Abdi salaam forced the Ethiopians to withdraw from Moqdisho.

I can give Sh.Sharif some credit for removing Ethiopia, but Not Ahmed Abdisalaam, who came to A/Y government in the beginning of 2008. What was he doing all those months?

HG had 4 posts already and he was facing competition from another Ceyr candidate Abdirehin Abdishakur. In the end some-one had to give-in and he bowed out.
