I don't know about clans but the marexaan leadership will soon be taken by the rer Gedo asalka ah. For far too long reer Mudug decided all marexaan affairs so it is time things change.

By the way, no traitors regardless of who they are or where they are from will ever be recognized as a marexaan leader.

Soomaalidu waxay ku maah-maahdaa "Gaal dil gartiisana sii". The motherfocker Dhabayocos outsmarted all Somalis and anytime you think their demise is near, they pull out another trick. For example; we all thought once we liberate Ethiopia; the liberation of Dhabayocos from Somali territory would be next, only to find out that they ended up getting the second highest office of the goverment.

In the last civilian goverment, their region was the ONLY one allowed to carry a clan name

There's no darood leaders....in order to do that, u have to have followers.

Anyways, Yes, they are top dogs today and like guhud said, somali politics is unpredictable.

I agree 100%. I have nothing but love for Sade Bari, but truth be told Marexaans powerbase is Gedo today not Galgudud. It was towns like Baardheere, Beled Xaawo, Dolow, Garbaharey etc. who were the 1st ones to say We're out of this Gov and those were the ones that caught the attention of everybody. Since Gedo is the powerbase it would make sense to have leaders that have strong ties to the region.

Wow. Such hate.

Seriously though, Caabudwaaq was the first town to protest and in any case Mareexaan is Mareexaan.

I don't really think reer Axmed care Qansa is a bonafide reer Gedo as opposed to just reer Farax Ugaas regardless what part of the country he lives.

ok analysis

Rer Gedo

very peaceful people, mainly due to their lack of thinking, rer Gedo neighbors/rivals/competitors are Eelay(main occupation begging), Ogadem(better known as Cagdheer, the only immigrants in somalia), shiekhal/galgecel/garre (small somali tribes that have no relevant status)

Rer Gedo main enemy is a few Majertens (suwaqroons the weakest Mj) and still majerten manages to mess with them

Rer Galgaduud

very powerful people that never need help from Rer Gedo but in fact helps Rer Gedo, neighbors Cayr one of the strongest hawiyo clans, Sacad again former empire of the Hawiyo confederation, Cumar maxamuud the rulers of majertania and many others....

Rer Galgaduud is an island of beesha Sade surrounded by somalias biggest and most chaotic clans

currently Rer Galgaduud is managing Rer Gedo.......... no need to mention names

Rer Gedo

Rer Galgaduud

To be honest I think the best MR siyaasiin hail from Mudug not Gedo. Sometimes Reer Gedo strike Me as too gulible and can be tricked easily while Reer Mudug are a little more ilbax. I'm just stating a fact though that xooga beesha is in Gedo today runti. MSB AUN When He was regrouping He came to Buurdhoobo not Caabudwaaq
