So far is pursuing all the promises he made during the campaign.

Lets see ,

Health care reform.==========> Check (Included in his budget)

Closing of Guantanamo =======> Check

Withdrawing from Iraq .========>Check (plans are in the works to make it happen in 19 months)

Making the Middle East issue a top priority ==> Check.. (He named an envoy and is not blindly supporting one side at least in his rhetoric)

Tax increase on the wealthiest Americans ==> Check (refer to new budget released today)


I am gonna be honest, I was skeptical at the beginning , but he is keeping his word.. Kudos to him so far.

I know many will not agree or be happy with the details of every plan..i.e Guantanamo will take 1 yr and some prisoners will not be released, but he never promised to set them all free... etc etc

So this keeps us still optimistic and hopeful that his presidency will bring the very needed change we all hoped for..and for the entire world that America has some influence on.

Nope. Doesn't even have the HHS cabinet position filled yet. FOcker keeps overlooking the one man who is right for it: Howard Dean.
I hear he's not even gonna have health-care Czar position anymore. What a F'ing waste!

lol. No hopes for George Mitchell and his likes to pull anything off ova there. Especially with their own election outcomes. I do expect the US to be more outspoken on settlements being built...Then again G.B senior was too. Don't see how that's gonna help much...Its always All talk....&Thats all.

Obama's been playing that Non-partisan thing a little too much for my liking, tho. Why the Fock do they have to be more civil,
when the repubs had been bangin their heads on the wall when they were in power, asserting all their agenda across the nation/world? Fockin' Spineless!

Ami, Have you read or listened to any news today??

One thing is to drink a Kool-Aid, another is to sound just like Joe the plumma.. ok thats a bit extreme I know, but give credit where and when its due.

PS. The focus is mainly on domestic issues here btw.
