Basra, if it consoles you, others have died, and those alive are guaranteed to follow. There's nothing that you can do about dying. The idea of dying itself isn't bothersome, but what awaits you can be a deep tranquil sleep or torment until aakhiro. So, please work towards saving yourself, and do help your relatives and friends save themselves.Basra- wrote:People are so worried about self serving agenda that they forget about death. Is there any beauty better than death? People are worried about small idiotic, earthly things like economy, pleasure, tv, somali politics-- etc etc-- do u all know one day, you will die and be burried alone? Imagine the idea of being burried and left behind in a dark grave, u cant breath, u r scream---- dont leave me, pleaseeeee.![]()

Well said.Cadeey wrote:I must admit I am scared of death, partially agony of death and what awaits me after. The whole concept is frighting.
Imagine you are all alone, noone is there for you, whenever I think of death it sends shivers down my spine. As each year passes by I personally tend to think of death more so than the previous year for we will all taste death, it will happen it's just a matter of when. True we all strive for this world, what use will it be to us? when our final destination is that of the grave.
It's funny how the dead no longer have names, she or he is referred to simply as the 'deceased' or maytka. Just goes to show how we become insignificant even among our own family members. The most you will ever be mentioned after your death is two weeks I suspect, life goes on without you, scary.!On the other hand take Bilal for example a poor slave from Abyssinia freed by Abu Bakr, after 1426 years he is still remember. Yet another chilling reminder that our presence in this world is that of a traveler. May Allah bestow his mercy on us.
