Shambo I think it depends on your taste.. but I went to Hargeisa one time and they gave us Salad with no liin, khal or even cusbo.

thats the one thing I notice when my mom gives us salad, its the same way... its def. a reer hargeysa thing

i went to my eedo for dinner and all of the above was set up with the salad

You mean to tell me ppl eat chopped up lettuce with no tomatoes,cucumber,cheese,dressing etc?

I love my reer Xamar neighbors. They thought me a thing or two about cooking and diff dishes. So southern food for me.

All somali food is the same shit to me wallahi.....bariis, baasto, sabaayad, suqaar etc. I would assume since reer waqooyi are mostly reer miyi, their consists for the most part of milk, meat and soor.

I dunno about maskaas...lakin I make it a priority to go to his Arab Halal meat store and pick up some fresh Caloolay once in a while.
