Qansa, its Huriwaa and not Heliwaa.. if you realize they mean different in af somali. I mean after all mainly gadaal ka gaar iyo reer baadiye lee daganaa area daas...in Xamar..except for few.

It is the same Area.

In the late 1980s a lot of people moved to Hurwia and started to build houses and buy land and it subsecuently become one of the the most expensive areas in Xamar people started to call it Heliwa instead of Huriwa. Heliwa = Hard to get

Thats my Xafaad. We got 4 properties in that Area. My grandfathers hotel was in that area too.

Call it what you will, but i will call it Huriwaa because that is what i always called it. Others will call it Heliwaa and Caydiid’s most hardcore supporters will call it Xoriyo and tell you it is home of the brave because it is where much of the reinforcement came from when others tried to bully other neighbourhoods like Wardhiigley and Howlwadaag. It is the best place on earth...And even though wardhiigley, too, is a good place i wouldn’t trade Huriwaa for any place on earth.

It is where so many powerful armies suffered defeats; the Italians and the Americans, the Nigerians and even the Ethiopians and their Somali prostitutes started calling Huriwaa the Faluja of Mogadishu since it is where most resistance was based.

We built this xaafad on bravery and patriotism.

There are many things a fool or mentally handicapped person such as you could get away with if he said to me but badmouthing Huriwaa isn't one of those things. So, watch out brother and don't say something like that outside of the cyber world...otherwise you will get slapped if you said that to me.

Warya say it...say alxamdulilah... you are enjoying the fact that I am even replying to you..
cos in the real world you will never know me..and you can never know someone like me..with that mentality of yours.

first it was called huriwaa,,and then later waxay isku badashay heliwaa...

markii hore lama jecleen xaafadaas oo dadka ay danta ku qasabtay ayaa dagi jiray, that is why it was called huriwaa ,means danta ayaa huriwaysay,,few years later waxay noqotay xaafad camiran oo aan la heleenin magaci markaasi ayuu isku badalay heliwaa
