Switching off from someone

If someone you really care about keeps messing up continuously and no matter what you do or say, they never seem to change their ways, could you (or if it has happened before) have you been able to switch them off and tune them out of your life completely?

It's easy to say I don't care any more but to say it and mean it...If it is possible would it be giving up on that person, could you walk away and let them self destruct?

Only mothers dont give up on their children.. thats a lesson I learned in life.

But yeah pray for him and try some more.

You and I are more alike that I thought.

Had this dilemma with a cousin of mine and its their life, I can't really say anything to make them change their ways.

It depends, if they're young I would stick by them because I know they're still growing and there's some hope. But an older person should be able to realise their mistakes, I'd warn them, but that's all one can do really.

I will always pray for him God knows giving up is hard.

Walahi I was thinking of getting some guys to rush him. Thought maybe they'd knock some sense into him and he would realise he is not untouchable.

Accetp them for who they are/what they're doing/which phase they are going through. I believe cutting the off will only push them further for they see no one cares. Be patient and have tolerance and lots of dua's for them and they'll get over it and come arround.
