Hello everyone i was gonna ask this question in S-land forum but since its not as poppin as P-land one i will ask it here this article http://somalinet.com/forums/posting.php ... f5d6states "surveys show that Somaliland has large offshore and onshore oil and natural gas reserves."<<<<<< I find this statement to be very interesting since thier is natural gas reserves in Somaliland which region is it specifically is it within the Waqooyi Galbed or Awdal territory or does it lie in the contested/disputed regions of Sanag Sool and Cayn?????

If such things cannot sustain and benefit countries like Nigeria where Oil is in abundance, it's unlikely that the Horn of Africa will be any different.

Somalilands does not need oil at the moment because any oil found will only benefit the corrupt politicians. I think you need a high standard of government from an honest administration for any revenues generated to be spent and the right courses. This even applys more so to Puntland and the south.
